Josue Maldonado

Josue Maldonado is a clay modeler with 24 years of professional experience. He has worked primarily in advanced studios in Germany, California, and the Midwest USA. The 2015 Ford GT and Cadillac Lyriq are some of the production models in his portfolio. Aside from his professional work, Josue’s passion is sculpting, delving into designs that are fun and whimsical. Blending his technical automotive sculpting background and attention to detail with his personal artistic expression. He creates moving sculptures such as custom wind-up toys and pop-up books. Currently he is completing his master’s degree in 4D Design at Cranbrook Academy of Art. During his studies he is exploring interactive experiences to help him transfer traditional sculpting techniques in VR using Gravity Sketch.
