David "Nemo" Neal

David Neal, aka Nemo, is Senior Design Manager at Modus Applied Innovations. He currently works on a variety of transportation and product design projects, where he has used Gravity Sketch very heavily in the design and development process both internally and with clients of Modus. Prior to joining Modus, Nemo worked as a Design Director and Community Manager at Local Motors, where he had a major role in forming the second generation of the Local Motors Olli, an autonomous shuttle that incorporated a 3D printed chassis along with a host of other technologies.

What sets Nemo apart from the crowd is that he did not take the traditional path to get to where he is now – instead most of his design skills were learned through passion for the topic, collaborations, and working on multiple projects.

In addition to designing, Nemo has spun beats as a DJ for over 25 years, and has done several commissioned spray painted murals.
